hi there my name is Jeremy Jones and I'm the principal at Valley View Elementary and I'm excited to have the opportunity to share with you some of the things that value great people that live in the area have a little Valley View is one of the best kept secrets of the value community the number one thing Amex Valley View grade is the faculty and staff a group of individuals that field called education from Astana guy who teaches first grade that was the Elementary District teacher of the year to mr. Reese is exciting 4th and 5th grade classes leading steam lab along with Miss Betty who dresses up as a taco is a class reward for meeting academic goals to miss Fields leading her students in a dance to help them retain and learn the unravel method PE teacher coach Amos leading the student and how to make good choices about a physically active and healthy lifestyle Miss Roman inspiring her students about the importance of music and the role it plays in our life exposing all ages to the beauty that can be found in the Arts here's a picture of our choir that goes our business partners to spread Christmas cheer another short video of our students performing at the Statewide Junior Beta Club where within the last 3 years Valleyview Elementary has one of what are your Wards in state competition even in the year of a pandemic Valleyview represented in the virtual Junior Beta Club here are some students playing with the Lego robotics kit that is a part of our steam Lab at Valley View sponsor bar PTO at Valley View we want to make learning fun for crazy sock Day 2 Easter egg hunts to celebrate the season or even 100 day where students are encouraged to dress up as a 1 Gerald person we support literacy through AR by earning points to where students can go to hoedowns cocoa and pajama days along with having our annual character book dress-up day students get address other favorite characters that are found in books in the library including parents and families for family literacy night to where individuals have the opportunity to read about the book called the word collector and AdWords the word collector wall also Valley View has a wonderful thriving Sports Community for cheerleading to basketball and even our Valley View Runners Club which started three years ago for the whole child to thrive academically physically and emotionally they must be involved another great part of Valley View is our SRO Keith Hixson in our school nurse Shelly Tapley nurse list all medical needs on campus and officer Hicks in laser safety patrol which instilled within our students form of citizenship and giving back to the community we look forward to getting back to having our family thanks getting mail to where students and families are brought together to celebrate the things they are thankful for and have a delicious cafeteria meal it is also a tradition at Valley View to celebrate our Valley View seniors and on Earth as they finish their public education another thing that makes Valleyview great is the Partnerships that support education for local church partners the bank of Cleveland that has their annual pumpkin contest that is paired with her Junior base Club along with Renfro manufacturing that had a student sock design competition for school spirit and these pictures here you can see the panels that were created to redesign or Courtyard celebration of our house system this was a project sponsored and supported by Lewis group architect which is headed up by Doug caywood who himself is a former Valley View student these panels pleaded with the students thumbprints to give them a sense of being a part of a community and how together they make a greater picture as mentioned at the beginning of the video it is the faculty and staff at Valley View that makes it great for motivation beaches at General assembly's to Friday morning dance parties to celebrate the week's accomplishments from the beginning of the year where your every student is greeted with a smile and Open Arms to the end of the year where we celebrate our fee Raiders accomplishments and prepare them for the transition to the next stage Valley View faculty and staff will be there all the way supporting your child and the education that they deserve thank you for taking the time to watch this video if you have any questions contact her main office at 423-478-8825 best kept secret
