the adage it takes a village to raise a child is absolutely still true when families and schools come together great things happened research shows that parent engaged in schools is closely linked to better student Behavior higher academic achievement and enhanced social skills and educating the whole child about our families into our school to become part of our family family engagement is very important in our schools it sends a message to our students that their families is value their morning when they're taking an active role in their education it all to mately results and positive student outcomes and improved student achievement families are just so excited just to come on the campus and in the band to be a part of the activity they love spending time not only with their child but with the rest of the parents here in our community throughout the year we have different and opportunities we have Christmas craft night we have steam nights we have a folk dancing night so a lot of opportunities throughout the year to about our families over to spend time with her child and to also get to know each one in the community children come to us from very close-knit Elementary School my parents feel very included and children feel very comfortable with their parents in the school and we want to continue that when they come to middle and high school we really want parents to feel welcomed and for children to know that their parents are an important part of their education at the secondary level when educators are committed to listening and collaborating with families and families are committed to prioritizing your children's education the sky's the limit thank you two are committed Educators coordinators and families for creating an environment Where We Are call Reach higher
