May 18, 2020 - End of year update/message from Bradley County Schools Director Dr. Linda Cash.

good afternoon while the official end date today next school year for students was Friday May 15th I want you to know that you're Bradley County Schools team is here and will be communicating with you on a regular basis throughout the summer months thank you again for your patience and flexibility that you demonstrated it's unprecedented closure Bradley County Schools is committed to the health and safety of our students and staff as we emerge from the covid-19 pandemic and return the classroom this neck no pain clinic has created many obstacles for our community death has local businesses and nonprofits are looking for the best way to resume operation the school district is hard at work examining all processes and procedures as we speak to bring students back to our campus while it is our intent to resume houses in the fall we are working on a contingency plan in the event that covid-19 remains a threat please know that the district recognizes that school reopening plans will have a significant effect on our community is our goal to provide regular updates Sure Staff families and the community are prepared for what the future holds that are local schools Bradley County schools has developed at work growth of education and public health experts who will make weekly to plan and provide recommendations on the happening at school because we know the real Anthony will affect staff parents and student there will be a survey sent out in the coming weeks for you to provide input and see if that this is a daunting task and when they value your opinion and Edition actively preparing how to counteract the Cermak summer learning loss which this year was exasperated by the disruptive spring semester we will be transitioning our remote learning page on our website to a summer morning paid which will include resources activities to help your child reduce the possible academic loss due to a potential summer slide additional information will be forthcoming to my wonderful staff parents students and Community none of this has been or will be easy please know we are actively working to softly plan out our eventual return to school personally I cannot wait to see all of your smiling faces again but until then stay safe and have a wonderful summer
