21st Century Kids After School Program

Middle School Parents,

The 21st Century Kids After School program will operate Monday-Thursdays from 3:30-6:30 at their home middle school.  We want students who can attend as much as possible but the program offers flexibility too.  Students need to attend a minimum of 4 hours a week out of the 12 hours offered.  Parents are responsible for the pick-up of their students by 6:30 each afternoon.  The program will operate during the normal school schedule.

While at 21st Century Kids, students will engage in fun, interactive and themed activities while being provided academic support through tutoring, character development, physical education activities, a healthy snack, social-emotional problem-solving along with supplemental activities in Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics.

Interested families use the QRL Code below and are taken to an easy electronic form to apply.  Applications are taken throughout the year and students are chosen based on grant qualifications.  Priority is given to those students on Free and Reduced Lunch, those students who have lower TCAP scores and are struggling academically, students chose who have social-emotional needs or are graduates of Big City University but is open to all students.

This QRL Code will allow you to access the on-line application: (Place your cell phone in camera mode, and this code will open the google form application in a web search browser such as Safari.)  We look forward to working with your family! If you have any questions, please contact the Program Coordinator, Callie Limburg at 423-476-0634.
