Director of Schools

Dr. Linda Cash is an accomplished education professional who has dedicated her career to improving the lives of students through transformative leadership. She currently serves as the Director of Schools for Bradley County Schools, where she oversees the academic programs and administrative functions of 18 schools.
Dr. Cash began her career in education as a teacher, where she quickly discovered her passion for helping students achieve their full potential. She earned her bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education and later pursued a master's degree in Supervision and Administration, laying the foundation for her future in educational leadership. Dr. Cash went on to earn her doctoral degree in Leadership and Professional Practice.
Over the course of her career, Dr. Cash has held various leadership positions in education, including principal and assistant superintendent. She has been recognized for her exceptional leadership skills, innovative ideas, and her ability to inspire and motivate others.
As Director of Schools, Dr. Cash has made it her mission to ensure that every student in the district receives a high-quality education that prepares them for success in college, careers, and life. She has led several initiatives aimed at improving student achievement, including the vision and implementation of the PIE Innovation Center.
In addition to her work in education, Dr. Cash is an active member of several professional organizations and serves on multiple boards. She also serves on the Textbook Commission for the Tennessee Department of Education.
Dr. Cash’s unwavering commitment to education and her ability to lead with vision and purpose have earned her numerous awards and accolades throughout her career. In 2025, she was named the Tennessee Superintendent of the Year by the Tennessee Organization of School Superintendents. She is widely regarded as a visionary leader in education and remains dedicated to making a lasting impact on students and the communities she serves.
