I am excited to share a bit about my background and journey in education. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where I developed a strong foundation in education and a passion for teaching. Following my time at UTC, I pursued a Master's Degree in Instructional Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University, and an Educational Specialist degree from Lincoln Memorial University, further deepening my passion for supporting students and serving educators.
Before moving into administration, I was a secondary history teacher, a role that fostered my love for working directly with students and shaping young minds. For the next 15 years of my career, I had the privilege of serving at both Ocoee Middle School and Walker Valley High School as an administrator, where I worked alongside talented educators and leaders, striving to support our students' academic growth and development. I joined the district staff in 2021 where I work alongside some of the best teammates anyone could ask for.
My wife Cassie is also an educator here in Bradley County Schools. Together, we are blessed with three wonderful daughters, and as a family, we cherish moments spent together cheering for the Orange and White—Go Vols!
I am thankful for the opportunity to support our schools in this role. Our system is blessed to have some of the most incredible teachers and schools in the country. I am always available to be a support and look forward to the opportunity to serve our students and the community anyway I can.
