Vicki Osment Beaty was born in Bradley County and attended Bradley County Schools. She and her husband, Keith, have lived in the second district for 37 years. Mrs. Beaty is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a B. S. degree in Elementary Education and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a M. Ed. Degree in Special Education. She also has 45 post-graduate hours in Administration and Supervision. Her educational licensure includes Elementary and Special Education K-12, Administration and Supervision K-12, Professional Administrator PreK - 12 and Superintendent. Mrs. Beaty has been a teacher, principal, and Supervisor in Bradley County Schools for 40 years as well as a State Consultant with the Tennessee Department of Education.

Vicki Beaty's goals as a school board member include:

•1) Being a voice for the children and parents of the 2nd district community as well as all students and parents in Bradley County.

•2) Working with school business and industry partners to promote positive aspects of Bradley County schools.

•3) Ensuring that schools and programs are prepared as new industrial developments continue to move into Bradley County.

As a school board member, Vicki Beaty plans to be accessible, adopt policies that are fair and reasonable and act as a visionary for our school system.
