The Volunteer Advocacy Project

The Volunteer Advocacy Project (through the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center) trains interested individuals to advocate for families as they navigate their way through the special education process.  The training will take place on Wednesday evenings from 5 to 8 pm CST beginning on September 2 at a range of locations across the state.  The training will run for twelve weeks (a total of 40 hours).  Additional information about the training can be found here http://vkc.mc.vanderbilt.edu/vkc/services/project/volunteer-advocacy/
